Otto Mann
Otto Mann is Springfield Elementary's long-haired, heavy-metal-loving school bus driver, known for his easygoing attitude and love of rock music. A recurring face in Springfield, he ferries Bart, Lisa, and their classmates while remaining perpetually more interested in headbanging than schedules.
Few characters capture the laid-back, heavy-metal spirit of Springfield quite like Otto Mann, who rolled into comics with Bill Morrison's debut in Simpsons Comics #6 in 1994. A product of the Copper/Modern Age, Otto has kept surprisingly durable company in the Bongo universe over a remarkable thirty-year publishing run, sharing pages with Springfield's finest — Bart, Lisa, Milhouse, Homer, and Barney Gumble. His six catalog appearances are concentrated in Simpsons Comics, where he fits naturally into the anarchic, gag-driven world Bongo built around one of pop culture's most beloved families. If you love the looser, wilder corners of the Springfield ensemble, Otto's comic appearances are a fun slice of Bongo at its most cheerfully chaotic.
