Oddbit

Oddbit is a Halfling character who appears in the world of the ElfQuest saga, published by WaRP Graphics beginning in 1978–1979. A member of the stout, human-like Halfling folk, she is introduced as a scheming, self-interested figure pursuing her own ambitions within the Two Moons world.

Oddbit made her debut in the very first issue of ElfQuest back in 1979, born from the imaginative minds of Wendy and Richard Pini at WaRP Graphics — right at the heart of the Bronze Age indie comics revolution. Over an extraordinary span of more than four decades, she's woven through the rich tapestry of the ElfQuest universe, appearing across flagship titles like Kings of the Broken Wheel and Blood of Ten Chiefs, sharing pages with beloved figures such as Cutter, Skywise, Strongbow, and Picknose. She may not rack up the highest appearance count, but any character who endures from 1979 all the way to 2021 in one of independent comics' most cherished mythologies has clearly earned her place in that world — and in the hearts of devoted ElfQuest fans.
