Who is N'Jadaka?

N'Jadaka is the alter ego of Erik Killmonger, a Wakandan exile who grew up displaced from his homeland and harbors a fierce vendetta against T'Challa and the Wakandan throne, making him one of Black Panther's most formidable and ideologically driven adversaries.

Born from the bold, socially charged storytelling of Don McGregor and Rich Buckler, N'Jadaka made his entrance in Jungle Action #7 in 1973 — right in the heart of Marvel's Bronze Age, when comics were pushing harder than ever into complex, morally layered territory. Sharing those pages with Black Panther, T'Challa, Monica Lynne, and W'Kabi places N'Jadaka squarely within one of the era's most celebrated and ambitious runs, a storyline that helped define what superhero comics could be when they dared to say something real. Though his catalog footprint is compact, the company he keeps and the creative voices that brought him to life make him a figure worth seeking out for any serious Bronze Age enthusiast.
