Ms. Mystic
A creation of Jack Kirby, Ms. Mystic debuted in 1982 through Pacific Comics, one of the early independent publishers outside Marvel and DC. She first appeared within the pages of Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers, Kirby's own sci-fi series.
Born from the imagination of the legendary Jack Kirby himself, Ms. Mystic made her entrance in the pages of Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers #3 in 1982 β a Bronze Age creation from Pacific Comics, one of the pioneering independent publishers that cracked open new creative frontiers beyond the Big Two. Her catalog appearances place her in remarkable company, sharing pages with the likes of Captain Victory, The Rocketeer's Cliff Secord, and Groo, a testament to the wild, anything-goes spirit of Pacific's eclectic lineup. Though her footprint in the catalog is small, any character conjured by Kirby carries an undeniable gravitational pull, and for collectors who love the independent comics revolution of the early '80s, Ms. Mystic is a genuine curiosity worth seeking out.
