Who is Mrs. Claus?

Mrs. Claus is the wife of Santa Claus, the legendary gift-giving figure of Christmas folklore. She has appeared in comics as a warm, festive supporting presence alongside her husband in holiday-themed stories.

Few characters can claim a century of comics history, but Mrs. Claus made her debut all the way back in 1922 β€” the Platinum Age β€” in the pages of Judge, brought to life by Charles Ryan. Over a remarkable span stretching into the 2020s, she's turned up everywhere from Dell's beloved Four Color to the futuristic fun of Archie 3000, keeping festive company with Santa Claus himself as well as the Riverdale gang in their various incarnations. With 101 years of appearances across publishers and eras, she's a quiet constant in comics' holiday tradition β€” proof that some characters simply endure.
