Mr. Creepley
Straight out of the Bronze Age's delightful intersection of Saturday-morning cartoons and four-color fun, Mr. Creepley made his debut in Marvel's Laff-A-Lympics #1 in 1978, brought to life by the creative team of Mark Evanier and Jack Manning. He inhabits a wonderfully zany corner of comics where he shares the page with the likes of Yogi Bear, Dynomutt, Hong Kong Phooey, and Captain Caveman β an all-star roster of Hanna-Barbera favorites. His run was brief, spanning only the 1978β1979 lifespan of the series, leaving him a charming rarity with just seven appearances to his name. For collectors who love that warm, nostalgic sweet spot where animated classics met Marvel's publishing house, Mr. Creepley is a quirky little treasure worth seeking out.
