Moonglow
Moonglow is a member of the Squadron Supreme, a team of superheroes from an alternate Earth who attempt to reshape their world through a totalitarian utopian program. She possesses illusion-casting abilities, using them in service of the Squadron's controversial Utopia Program.
Stepping out of the visionary Mark Gruenwald and Paul Ryan's landmark Squadron Supreme limited series in 1986, Moonglow is a Copper Age Marvel creation with a distinctly intriguing pedigree. Born from one of comics' most celebrated exercises in superhero deconstruction, she shares the page with heavy hitters like Hyperion and Stanley Stewart in a series that remains a touchstone of the era. Her presence in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Alternate Universes confirms she left enough of an impression to earn her place in Marvel's canon-building reference shelf. With a 24-year publication footprint and a home in Gruenwald's celebrated Omnibus, Moonglow is a rewarding discovery for any collector digging into the rich, morally complex corners of Marvel's alternate-universe storytelling.
