Stepping out of the richly imagined world of Kurt Busiek and Brent Anderson's Astro City, Merilandra made her debut in 2010's Astro City: Silver Agent #1 — a Modern Age creation born into one of comics' most celebrated independent-minded universes, now collected in the handsome Astro City Metrobook editions. She keeps remarkable company, sharing pages with icons of that world like The Silver Agent, Madame Majestrix, and Dame Progress, which tells you something about the caliber of the storytelling she's embedded in.
