Born into the pages of MegaPyton in 1998, Manuel is a Modern Age creation from Sweden's Atlantic Förlags AB, brought to life by the distinctive creative partnership of Simon Gärdenfors and David Liljemark. His world is a colorful one, shared with an eclectic cast including Ritman Katz, Lisa Leavenworth, Bo, Susanna, and the memorably named Mannen med Påskö-ansiktet. With only a brief run around 1998–2000 and a handful of appearances to his name, Manuel is a rare find — the kind of character that makes digging through international comics such a rewarding adventure for the dedicated collector.
