Man-Bat
Man-Bat is Kirk Langstrom, a scientist who transformed himself into a monstrous human-bat hybrid after experimenting with a serum derived from bat DNA, hoping to grant humans echolocation — but instead lost his humanity to a fearsome creature of the night.
A creature of the night with serious collector credentials, Man-Bat made his catalog debut in the pages of DC gegen Marvel #1 in 1996, landing in the Modern Age of comics under the Panini Deutschland banner. This fearsome figure shares the page with some of Gotham's most iconic names — Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, and even the Penguin himself — making for dark and atmospheric company. With appearances spanning nearly three decades across titles like Batman, Batman: Full Moon, and Batman Sonderband, Man-Bat has proven a durable presence in the German-language DC publishing world, and one of those appearances carries the weight of a recognized key issue — reason enough for any dedicated collector to take notice.
