Loulou
Loulou is the French name for Louie Duck, one of Donald Duck's three mischievous nephews. Alongside his brothers Huey (Riri) and Dewey (Fifi), he is a core figure in Disney storytelling, known for his boyish antics and membership in the Junior Woodchucks.
Loulou made their debut in the pages of Le Journal de Mickey #55 in 1953, brought to life by Pierre Fallot and Pierre Nicolas during the Golden Age of comics — and what a world to step into, sharing adventures alongside the likes of Donald Duck, Minnie, Riri, and Fifi across the beloved French Mickey universe. Published under Hachette and appearing across titles like Votre série Mickey and Mickey & Co., this character has been part of a rich Franco-Belgian tradition of Disney storytelling that has stretched an remarkable seven decades. A charming piece of comics history for any dedicated collector of the European Disney canon.
