Logan-5
Logan-5 is a Sandman — an enforcement agent in a dystopian future society where no one is permitted to live past age 21 — adapted from the 1976 film and William F. Nolan's novel, tasked with hunting down citizens who flee their mandated death, called Runners.
Few characters arrive with quite the pedigree of Logan-5, who made his Marvel Comics debut in 1977's Logan's Run #1 — a Bronze Age launch crafted by the formidable team of Gerry Conway, David Zelag Goodman, and a young George Pérez. Adapted into comics at the height of science-fiction's cultural moment, Logan-5 inhabits a world vivid enough to share pages with the likes of Francis-7 and Jessica-6, and his Marvel pedigree even brings him into proximity with Spider-Man and Peter Parker himself. His catalog footprint is compact, making each of his five recorded appearances a genuine collector's find. If you love Bronze Age sci-fi with serious creative firepower behind it, Logan-5 is absolutely worth tracking down.
