Little Quacker
Little Quacker is a small, endearing duckling who appeared in Dell's licensed Tom and Jerry comics, fitting naturally into the animated world of Tom, Jerry, and their rowdy cast as a diminutive, vulnerable character whose innocence often put him at the center of the gang's misadventures.
A tiny duck with a big presence, Little Quacker waddled onto the comics page in 1955 courtesy of artist Harvey Eisenberg, bringing Golden Age charm to Dell's beloved M.G.M. licensed line. Sharing panels with the likes of Tom, Big Spike, and the rest of that boisterous animated menagerie, this pint-sized waterfowl found a cozy home in seasonal and digest formats — from M.G.M.'s Tom and Jerry's Winter Fun to the jam-packed Golden Comics Digest — across nearly two decades of publishing. It's a modest catalog footprint, but for collectors who love the warm, funny-animal corner of the Golden Age, Little Quacker is a genuinely sweet piece of Dell's animated universe worth quacking about.
