Lenny Leonard

Lenny Leonard is a working-class resident of Springfield and a loyal employee at the nuclear power plant, best known as Homer Simpson's drinking buddy and inseparable companion to Carl Carlson. A fixture at Moe's Tavern, he brings deadpan humor to everyday small-town life.

Springfield's favorite bar-stool philosopher, Lenny Leonard made his Bongo Comics debut in Simpsons Comics #55 back in 2001, brought to the page by Jesse Leon McCann and Phil Ortiz during the Modern Age. Over roughly sixteen years he popped up across the Simpsons Comics line — including Simpsons Comics Explosion — sharing panels with the whole beloved Springfield crew: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and his inseparable pal Carl Carlson. His catalog appearances are select rather than sprawling, making each one a nice little treat for fans who love seeing the animated world's most reliably good-natured everyman get his moment in comic book ink.
