Leif made their comics debut in the pages of Herman Hedning & Co [julalbum] in 1998, brought to life by creators Jonas Darnell and Ulrika Darnell for Egmont in what would prove to be a lively corner of the Modern Age Scandinavian comics scene. With appearances spread across both Herman Hedning and its festive julalbum specials, Leif keeps some genuinely colorful company — sharing pages with the likes of Herman, Satan, Damien Jävelberg, Gammelman, and Lilleman. It's a small but spirited catalog presence, and for fans of the irreverent, offbeat world the Darnells built, Leif is one of those supporting players who adds real texture to the ensemble.
