Springfield's resident tough kid made his comics debut in 1995's Simpsons Comics #8, brought to the page by Gary Glasberg and Luis Escobar under the Bongo banner. Kearney has spent nearly three decades lurking in the margins of Springfield's funniest corners, sharing panels with the likes of Bart Simpson, Nelson Muntz, Jimbo Jones, Milhouse Van Houten, and Ralph Wiggum — about as colorful a crew as the comics world has to offer. His appearances across Simpsons Comics and Simpsons Comics Explosion make him a familiar face for devoted Bongo collectors who know that no Springfield story is quite complete without its full cast of characters.
