June Walker

Born in the pages of Jack Kirby's landmark Challengers of the Unknown #1 in 1958, June Walker is a Silver Age DC original who stepped onto the scene at the very dawn of comics' most inventive era. Her appearances across Challengers of the Unknown and G.I. Combat place her in remarkably distinguished company — sharing adventures with Ace Morgan, Red Ryan, Rocky Davis, and Prof Haley, as well as the occasional presence of Clark Kent himself. She may have a modest footprint in the catalog, but any character touched by Kirby in that electric first issue carries a collector's cachet that far outweighs the page count.
