Jujube

Jujube is a supporting character from Gotlib's early French comics work, appearing alongside the deadpan dog Gai-Luron in the youth weekly Vaillant. A companion figure in those humorous strips, Jujube featured across both Vaillant and the Gai-Luron series.

A charming slice of Franco-Belgian Silver Age comics history, Jujube stepped onto the page in 1966 courtesy of the wonderfully inventive Gotlib, debuting in the pages of Vaillant — one of France's most beloved youth weeklies.
