Judge Hubble
Judge Hubble is a street judge operating in the sprawling, crime-ridden Mega-City One, the futuristic dystopian metropolis of the Judge Dredd universe. Associated with fellow judges including Dredd and DeMarco, Hubble serves as part of the city's authoritarian law-enforcement system.
Stepping out of the grim corridors of Mega-City One, Judge Hubble made their debut in the pages of 2000 AD #1101 in 1998 β a Copper/Modern Age creation from the legendary partnership of John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, the very architects of the Judge Dredd universe. Over nearly two decades, Hubble carved out a place across the anthology's iconic pages and the Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files collections, sharing stories with the likes of Judge Dredd himself, Judge DeMarco, and Ray Dexter β serious company in one of British comics' most beloved fictional worlds. With a collector-recognized key issue among their appearances, Hubble is a character that rewards the dedicated reader digging deep into the sprawling, richly detailed lore that Wagner and Ezquerra built. Thirteen catalog appearances may sound modest, but in the dense, unforgiving world of 2000 AD, every panel counts.
