Who is John Tracy?

John Tracy is one of the five Tracy brothers and a core member of International Rescue, the secret organization founded by his father Jeff Tracy. Operating from Thunderbird 5, the space station, John monitors distress calls from Earth and relays emergencies to his brothers.

A Silver Age creation who made his comics debut in 1969's TV21 & Joe 90 #4, John Tracy is one of those characters whose presence quietly anchors the world around him — keeping company with the likes of Jeff Tracy, Brains, Alan Tracy, and even Captain Scarlet and Captain Blue across the pages of Action 21, Countdown, and TV21 & Joe 90. Published under Engale Marketing across nearly two decades, he's a modest but genuine piece of British comics history, the kind of figure who rewards the dedicated collector willing to dig into the rich, action-packed anthology titles that defined that era's adventure storytelling. With a run stretching from 1969 all the way to 1988, John Tracy is proof that some characters simply endure.
