Jerald

Jerald is a member of the Titanic Three, a villainous team that clashed with Iron Man in the early 1970s. Operating in Tony Stark's world, he crossed paths with figures including the Black Lama during this brief but notable run of appearances.

A creature of the Bronze Age Marvel universe, Jerald burst onto the scene in 1974's Iron Man #70, conjured by writer Mike Friedrich and artist George Tuska. As a member of the Titanic Three, this villain carries genuine team pedigree, and his appearances — however brief — put him in orbit around some serious company: Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, and the enigmatic Black Lama all share his pages. With only six catalog appearances concentrated in 1974–75, Jerald is a delicious deep-cut for the dedicated Bronze Age collector, a reminder of how richly populated Marvel's corners could be even in a single year.
