Hydro burst onto the page in 1994 when Malibu Comics brought the brutal world of Mortal Kombat to print, debuting in the very first issue of that landmark series alongside legends like Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Goro, and Shang Tsung. Created by Charles Marshall and Patrick Rolo, this Copper/Modern Age character is a genuine piece of early-'90s gaming-comics crossover history — a rare figure who exists almost exclusively within Malibu's short but passionate run on the franchise.
