Hedorah

Few kaiju carry the sheer iconic weight that Hedorah does, and IDW's Modern Age comics gave this legendary creature a place in the four-color universe starting with Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #10 in 2011, courtesy of Jason Ciaramella and Victor Santos. Sharing the page with none other than Godzilla and Kumonga, Hedorah moves through some of the most monster-packed corners of IDW's catalog, turning up across Godzilla Legends and even the headline-grabbing Godzilla vs. Hulk. A compact but consequential presence in the comics, Hedorah is one of those creatures whose very name signals that the stakes — and the chaos — have been raised considerably.
