Hairy Larry

Fresh out of the Modern Age's most eclectic corner of the DC universe, Hairy Larry made their debut in Danger Street #11 (2024), courtesy of the sharp creative partnership of Tom King and Jorge Fornés. Danger Street is already a book that revels in the weird and wonderful, and sharing pages with the likes of Doc Scary, Lizard Johnny, The Creeper, Orion, and Non-Fat tells you everything about the gloriously offbeat neighborhood this character calls home. Still early in their comics life with just a handful of appearances, Hairy Larry is one of those fresh faces that makes diving into a boundary-pushing DC series all the more rewarding — a reminder that even now, brand-new characters can feel like hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
