Fru Säljström

A creature of the mid-nineties Scandinavian underground, Fru Säljström made her entrance in the very first issue of MegaPyton in 1996, brought to life by creator Bjørn O. under the banner of Atlantic Förlags AB. She inhabits a compact but colorful corner of the Copper/Modern Age, sharing her brief run with an eccentric cast — Pervo-Kris, Säljare Säljström, Pål, Gunnar, and Lillstark among them — suggesting a world with plenty of personality to spare. With only three catalog appearances across a short-lived series, she's a genuine rarity for collectors with a taste for offbeat Nordic comics history.
