Faker

Faker is a blue-skinned evil robotic duplicate of He-Man, created by Skeletor to deceive and replace the heroic defender of Eternia. Armed with He-Man's appearance but serving evil, he is a weapon of impersonation deployed against Castle Grayskull's champions.

Few characters wear their purpose as boldly as Faker — a villain whose very name is a declaration of intent. Debuting in the Bronze Age pages of Masters of the Universe Annual #1985 (1984), courtesy of creator Paul Green and published by World Distributors, this sinister figure has lurked in the shadows of Eternia alongside the likes of Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and Mer-Man, while crossing paths with He-Man and Prince Adam themselves. With appearances stretching across an impressive 37 years through titles like Rock and a Hard Place and Sucker Punch, Faker may be a rarity in the catalog with only six recorded appearances, but that scarcity only adds to the mystique of a character whose name alone promises delicious deception at the heart of one of fantasy comics' most beloved universes.
