Félina
A creature of the Bronze Age European comics scene, Félina stepped onto the page in 1979 courtesy of the celebrated creative pairing of Víctor Mora and Annie Goetzinger, published under the prestigious Dargaud banner. She graced the pages of Pilote Mensuel — one of the most influential Franco-Belgian comics magazines of its era — as well as her own eponymous series, a mark of real distinction. Her run through the early-to-mid eighties places her squarely in a golden moment for sophisticated, artistically ambitious European storytelling, and Goetzinger's elegant draftsmanship alone makes any appearance worth seeking out. A relatively rare find in the catalog, Félina rewards the curious collector who ventures beyond the superhero mainstream into the rich, wide world of bande dessinée.
