Elim Garak
Elim Garak slipped into comics in 1993 with the launch of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine #1, brought to the page by writer Mike W. Barr and artist Gordon Purcell — a Copper/Modern Age debut for one of science fiction's most deliciously enigmatic figures. Over a remarkable span stretching nearly three decades to 2022, Garak has kept some of the finest company the station has to offer: Captain Benjamin Sisko, Dr. Julian Bashir, Quark, Chief Miles O'Brien, and Odo all share his orbit across these pages. His appearances span IDW's expansive Star Trek universe, including the milestone Star Trek #400, making him a presence worth seeking out for any Deep Space Nine devotee who wants to follow the galaxy's most intriguing tailor well beyond the screen.
