Element Girl
Element Girl is Urania Blackwell, a secret agent who volunteered for an experimental process that gave her the same elemental shape-shifting powers as Metamorpho, allowing her to transmute her body into any element or compound found in the human body.
A rare Silver Age gem, Element Girl made her debut in Metamorpho #10 in 1967, conjured into existence by Bob Haney and Sal Trapani during one of DC's most imaginatively strange eras. She shares her pages with the likes of Rex Mason, Sapphire Stagg, and Simon Stagg β the colorful, offbeat world of Metamorpho's corner of the DC universe β and her appearances stretch across an impressive fifty years, touching titles as varied as Blackhawk and the celebrated Wednesday Comics. With only 18 catalog appearances, she's the very definition of a cult favorite: a character whose footprint is small but whose presence in Silver Age lore makes her a genuinely rewarding discovery for the dedicated collector.
