Eddie Fyers

Eddie Fyers is a gruff, no-nonsense mercenary and CIA operative who becomes a reluctant ally of Oliver Queen (Green Arrow), pairing sharpshooting skills with field experience to serve as both foil and backup for the Emerald Archer.

A grizzled supporting player born in the late Copper Age, Eddie Fyers made his debut in Action Comics Weekly #614 in 1988, the creation of Sharon Wright and Randy DuBurke. Over roughly fourteen years he carved out a niche in the DC Universe, appearing most notably alongside Green Arrow and later turning up in Batgirl, sharing pages with heavy hitters like Batman, Superman, Bruce Wayne, Roy Harper, and Green Arrow himself — serious company by any measure. He may not boast a towering appearance count, but a character who keeps that kind of company across multiple series and a decade-plus run clearly left an impression worth digging into.
