E. Worthington Hamm

Few characters capture the flavor of late-1940s Western comics quite like E. Worthington Hamm, a Golden Age original who rode onto the page in Annie Oakley #2 back in 1948, courtesy of creator Bill Williams. Published during that brief, spirited window when Marvel was staking its claim on frontier adventure, Hamm turns up across both Annie Oakley and Lana, rubbing shoulders with a colorful cast that includes Lana Lane, Swifty Smith, and the Murphy clan.
