Doc Lewis

Doc Lewis is the trainer and corner man for Little Mac, the young boxer at the heart of the Punch-Out!! storyline within Acclaim/Valiant's Nintendo Comics System. He guides and supports Mac through his bouts, translating his role from the classic Nintendo game to the comics page.

Doc Lewis stepped into the four-color world in 1990, debuting in the very first issue of Acclaim/Valiant's Nintendo Comics System — a Copper Age curiosity that brought the beloved world of Nintendo to the comics page.
