Dizzy

A genuine Golden Age gem, Dizzy made their debut in Scribbly #10 in 1950, brought to life by the legendary Sheldon Mayer — the cartoonist-editor whose playful sensibility shaped some of DC's most charming humor comics. Turning up across Buzzy and Leave It to Binky as well, Dizzy moved in wonderfully eclectic company, sharing pages with the likes of Wonder Woman and the ancient Prince Amentep. With one of their scant three catalogued appearances already flagged as a key issue, Dizzy is a delightful little footnote worth hunting for any collector with a soft spot for the warm, witty corner of DC's Golden Age.
