Crippler is a no-nonsense Marvel street-level bruiser who operates in the world of mercenaries and covert operatives, associating with Silver Sable and her network of tough-for-hire fighters. He debuted facing Deathlok before carving out a role in the Wild Pack's gritty corner of the Marvel Universe.

Bursting onto the scene in 1992's Deathlok #18, Crippler is a Marvel tough guy born in the gritty Copper/Modern Age, when comics weren't shy about hard edges and harder characters.
