Corsário
Corsário is the Brazilian Portuguese name for Corsair, the alias of Christopher Summers, a former U.S. Air Force pilot who became a roguish space pirate and leader of the Starjammers after being abducted by the alien Shi'ar Empire — unaware his sons had become the X-Men.
Corsário made their Brazilian comics debut in Superaventuras Marvel #59 in 1987, brought to life through the combined talents of Mark Gruenwald, Roger Stern, and John Byrne during the Copper Age's creative boom. Published by Editora Abril, this character shares their pages with some of Marvel's most iconic figures — Kurt Wagner, Scott Summers, Ororo Munroe, and Colossus among them — placing Corsário squarely in the thick of Marvel's most celebrated corner of the universe. With six catalog appearances concentrated in Superaventuras Marvel, this is a character whose footprint is compact but whose company is undeniably stellar, making each issue a worthwhile find for collectors hunting the rich history of Marvel's Brazilian publishing era.
