Who is Chris Partridge?

Chris Partridge is the youngest son in the Partridge Family, the fictional single-parent musical clan from the early-1970s TV series. Charlton's comics adaptation brought him and his siblings — Keith, Laurie, Danny, and Tracy — into four-color adventures alongside their mother Shirley.

Straight out of the early Bronze Age, Chris Partridge made his comics debut in Charlton's The Partridge Family #2 in 1971, brought to life by artist Don Sherwood as part of that beloved fictional family's four-color adventures. He shares the page with the full Partridge clan — Tracy, Keith, Shirley, Laurie, and Danny — making these issues a warm snapshot of early-'70s pop culture translated into comics form. His appearances stretch across not only The Partridge Family but also Charlton's crossover territory with Archie titles like Life with Archie and Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica, a fun reminder of how freely that era's comics mixed worlds. A modest but charming piece of Bronze Age nostalgia, Chris is a find for collectors with a soft spot for the TV-tie-in comics that defined a generation.
