Celestine is an angelic warrior from the Image Universe who debuted in a crossover pitting supernatural and superhuman forces against each other, proving compelling enough to anchor her own solo series and a team-up with fellow Image hero Glory.

Born into the mid-'90s Image Comics explosion, Celestine made her debut in 1995's Violator vs. Badrock #1 — a crossover that dropped her into some seriously wild company, sharing pages with the likes of Badrock, Violator, and Angela. What followed was a character compelling enough to anchor her own series and later team up with Glory in Glory/Celestine: Dark Angel, a testament to the creative ambitions of that era's Image Universe. Co-created by the legendary Alan Moore alongside Brian Denham, she carries that pedigree with distinction across a focused but memorable publishing run through 2001.
