Carl Carlson

Carl Carlson is a resident of Springfield and close friend of Homer Simpson, best known as one of Homer's longtime pals alongside Lenny Leonard. A blue-collar worker at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, Carl is a familiar face in the show's ensemble cast.

Springfield's own Carl Carlson made his comics debut in Simpsons Comics #55 in 2001, brought to the page by Jesse Leon McCann and Phil Ortiz under the Bongo banner. A Modern Age arrival, he's spent his time in the funny pages rubbing elbows with the entire Simpson family — Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie — across titles like Simpsons Comics and Simpsons Comics Explosion.
