Emerging from the mid-nineties Marvel universe courtesy of the creative team of Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, and Dave Taylor, Butterfly made her debut in Force Works #6 (1994) — a title that was itself one of Marvel's more ambitious Copper/Modern Age experiments.
