Who is Baron Zémo?

Baron Zémo is the French-language edition identity for the Marvel villain Baron Zemo, a master strategist and hereditary enemy of Captain America who leads criminal organizations and has clashed repeatedly with the Avengers.

A fixture of French comics publishing, Baron Zémo made his catalog debut in Titans #88 in 1986 — the Copper Age — under the hands of Steve Englehart and Al Milgrom, and has kept remarkably distinguished company ever since, sharing pages with the likes of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and even Heinrich Zémo across nearly three decades of Panini France editions. With appearances spread across titles like Thor, Captain America - Souvenirs et combats, and Avengers les plus grands héros de la Terre, this is a character woven into some of the grandest corners of Marvel's translated library. Nine catalog appearances may sound modest, but when your co-stars read like the Avengers' greatest roll call, every issue counts.
