Who is Ba'al?
Emerging from the darkly imaginative pages of Verotik in 1995, Ba'al is a figure of genuine intrigue from the mid-'90s underground comics scene — a character born of the bold, boundary-pushing vision of Glenn Danzig and artist Frank Teran. With only a handful of appearances across the short-lived but memorable Jaguar God series, Ba'al keeps intense company alongside Jaguar God and X'alpen in one of the era's most distinctive cult titles. Rare by nature and rooted in a publisher that carved its own fierce niche, Ba'al is exactly the kind of character that rewards the dedicated collector willing to dig into comics' wilder corners.
