The Assessor is a mysterious Marvel villain who debuted targeting Iron Man before crossing over to menace Miles Morales, becoming a recurring threat in the young Spider-Man's world and crossing paths with those closest to him.

Bursting onto the scene in 2021's Iron Man Annual #1 courtesy of writer Jed MacKay and artist Ibraim Roberson, Assessor is a Modern Age Marvel creation who wasted no time making themselves at home in some of the most exciting corners of the universe. Though debuting in an Iron Man annual, this character quickly migrated into the world of Miles Morales, becoming a recurring presence across Miles Morales: Spider-Man — sharing pages with Miles himself, Rio Morales, Billie Morales, and Shift.
