Who Is Kiden Nixon in Marvel Comics?

Kiden Nixon is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in NYX #1 (2003), created by Joe Quesada and Joshua Middleton. She's a mutant with the ability to freeze time around herself — specifically, she can move at superhuman speed while time appears to stop for everyone else, triggered initially by extreme stress. Kiden is a troubled street kid from New York City whose life spirals after her father (a cop) is murdered. She becomes a central figure in the NYX series, where she helps gather a group of young, marginalized mutants — including Tatiana, Bobby Soul, and X-23 — surviving on the streets.
