What Is Invincible?

Invincible (Mark Grayson) is a superhero created by Robert Kirkman, first appearing in Invincible #1 (2003) from Image Comics. He's the son of Omni-Man, a powerful Viltrumite alien, and inherited superhuman strength, speed, flight, and durability from his father. The series follows Mark as he grows from a teenager into one of Earth's greatest heroes — while grappling with the dark legacy of the Viltrumite Empire and his complicated relationship with his father. Kirkman's run is beloved for its emotional depth, brutal action, and long-form storytelling across 144 issues. The series also inspired a hit animated adaptation on Amazon Prime Video.
