Who Is E-Man?

E-Man is one of the more unique and charming heroes of independent comics! A being of pure energy who spent billions of years drifting through the cosmos, he finally gained sentience and eventually made his way to Earth, where he learned to take human form and discovered both humanity and heroism for the first time. He first appeared in E-Man #1 (1973), published by Charlton Comics, written by Nicola Cuti with art by Joe Staton. The series had a lighthearted, fun tone that set it apart from superhero fare of the era, and E-Man went on to be revived by several publishers over the years, including First Comics and Alpha Productions, thanks to a devoted cult following.
