In "Snow Fun," Ted Dawson, determined to impress Candy by proving he’s a better skier than the boastful Ashley Hartburn, fakes his way through a ski lesson with borrowed, ill-fitting skis—only to quickly find himself in a series of escalating mishaps on the slopes. As Ashley pretends to rescue him from a cliff, Ted narrowly avoids disaster, leading to a chaotic and comically awkward afternoon that leaves Candy both bewildered and amused.
Candy takes a part-time job at a gas station to meet convertible owners, but her inexperience leads to a series of hilarious mishaps with cars, tools, and even a customer’s tire—until her boss, Mr. Frankovich, unexpectedly makes her a partner. The story follows her chaotic day of mistaken repairs, over-the-top reactions, and one very confused customer who can’t believe she’s still on the job.
In "She Snoops to Conquer," Candy, convinced her boyfriend Ted is losing interest, decides to spy on him by disguising herself as a glamorous French woman named Mlle. Fifi. Posing as her alter ego at a sweet shop, she tests Ted’s feelings while trying to avoid being recognized by her own friends, all while her friend Orville plays along with the ruse.
In a lighthearted school orchestra try-out, Candy insists her friend Ted Dawson join the ensemble, only to discover he’s been mistaken for a girl in the all-female section. When Miss O'Connor arrives with her wildly unorthodox audition on a left-handed Abyssinian glocken-spiel, she’s ultimately recruited to play the triangle—much to her delight and Candy’s surprise.
