Three figures dominate this 2006 Swedish edition's cover by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto: a young woman with short brown hair stands at the center, flanked by two older men in lab coats, all rendered with Sadamoto's clean, expressive linework. Looming behind them in muted, unsettling tones is what appears to be a massive biomechanical or organic form — a haunting presence that gives the image a genuinely eerie weight. It's a striking package for chapter "Kapitel 49: Kyss," and a fine addition to Bonnier Carlsen's Swedish run of this beloved series.
