Black Diamond Western #21 contains three feature-length stories. "Reliapon's Great Race" depicts a horse race where Black Diamond competes against rivals. "Will Black Diamond Be Buried Alive?" shows Black Diamond captured by enemies who threaten to bury him alive. A separate story features comedic crooks who steal bank money, attempt to hide their loot, and ultimately return it after a series of slapstick mishaps.
