Shadowland: Blood on the Streets

In this 2010–2011 Marvel miniseries, writer Antony Johnston and artists Wellinton Alves (also credited as Wellington Alves) spin a gritty, street-level crime thriller out of the larger "Shadowland" event. As the Hand's influence spreads through Hell's Kitchen, a cast of mercenaries and vigilantes—including Silver Sable, Misty Knight, Paladin, the Shroud, and Silvija Sablinova—find themselves caught in a violent power struggle that tests their loyalties and survival instincts. The series expands the shadowy corners of Marvel's New York, spotlighting the moral compromises of its costumed operatives.
