Plastic Man and his sidekick Woozy Winks race to Guap Island to stop the supposedly traitorous volcanologist Dr. Zink, only to discover he’s been hiding in a heat-proof suit beneath a volcano, masquerading as a fiery monster. As the island begins to erupt, the duo must survive the extreme heat and outwit Zink’s plan to deliver his secret to enemy agents via a waiting submarine.
In a zany twist, the Bounding Bandit—a mad scientist named Doc Bounce—uses a bizarre drug to turn himself into a super-bouncy, rubbery menace, outdoing Plastic Man in his own game. As the duo of Plastic Man and his partner Woozy Winks scramble to stop the chaotic crime wave, the real challenge isn’t catching the criminal, but surviving his relentless, unpredictable bounces.
When Plastic Man’s sidekick Woozy falls under the hypnotic spell of the self-proclaimed Master of Mystery, Hypno, he’s unwittingly used to lure Plastic Man into a trap at a supposedly mined house on Laurel Drive. As the explosive ruse unfolds, Plastic Man must piece together the deception while Woozy, still under Hypno’s control, stumbles through a series of bizarre misdirections.
